in this story you meet gerg he is in high school with his friend rowley. He has the worest of luck sometimes.
rodrick his older brother always pranks greg. meanwhile at school the dreded chease touch is taking over the basketball court who touches it spreds to the next person who gets touched. i rate it 10/10

Charlie and Maria Bartha Hill Non-Fiction

Charlie and Maria is a book about two different kids that live in two different parts of Kenya.

  Charlie

is a kid that has to drink muddy water out of the ground and not being aloud to school. Charlie would really like to go to school instead of walking twice a day with a bucket on her head to get water for her family to live. The water lets her family drink and some for cooking. 

Maria 

life is so much easier for Maria she gets fresh water and food she goes to school and she is so much more healthier. It all began in 1978 when two New Zealand scientists Ben and Winsome Webster came to Maria's part of Kenya it hadn't rained for years so the two scientist thought that if they build a little river from another river they will get nice clean fresh water it took thousands of people but it all payed off in the end.

I really enjoyed this story because it makes you think how lucky you are and not every body has a good life.

I would rate this book a 10/10.

What I like about this book: I like this book because its funny

This is about a boy name Greg who is starting high school. He makes a friend called Rowley they end up being really best friends. One day Greg sees a cheese slice on the ground he tried to touch it and a boy says "don't touch it you will get the cheese touch". So Halloween comes and they go tricker treating and some teenagers come past in there truck and Greg said something to them and they chased them home. 5 weeks later the bell rings and Greg and Rowley were still outside then the teenagers turned up. They grabbed Greg and Rowley and they made Rowley eat the cheese then the principle scared the teenagers away. Next everyone came outside and saw the cheese had been eaten then they ran away because they didn't want to get the cheese touch.

I Rate This Book A 8/10 because its a really good book and I recommend it

Erin believes in magic, but she didn't know she had her own powers. one day she sees a herd of magic horses up in the clouds. tor the sky stallion is trapped on earth by a dark spirit. only Erin and her friends can save him. are Erin's powers strong enough to send tor home?

favorite part: i thought the book was ok bu i didn't have a favorite part.
what i disliked:i didn't like the fact that it was all about magic and that there were flying horses.

A piece is missing so Ms Frizzle the teacher said an island so new hasn't discovered yet and says she knows exactly where to find the island. Then the kids and Ms Frizzle hop in The Magic School Bus and takes the kids beneath the earths surface to explore an underwater volcano.

What I liked about this book was that Ms Frizzle is a crazy out going teacher that is willing to do anything dangerous to do with science.

There was nothing I didn't like about this book

If I was to recommend this book to anyone I would recommend it to people who like adventure books.

Comets and meteors by Jane Kelley 6/20

Comets they glow bright in the sky because they reflect the sun's light. Comet tails are made of gas and dust particles knocked off the comet by the solar wind. Tails of the comet are hundreds of millions of mils long. Many comets have two tails. Asteroids are just made of rocks, asteroids are more common than comets. Asteroids are numbered. A meteorite is a piece of a meteoroid that has reached the earth's surface.

I recommend this book because it techs you a lot of things about comets and meteors.

Emily wanted to photographer when she grew up.Collecting photographer was her hobby.she had pictures of all sorts of things.
Emily's brother  Jake had a hobby too.He loved to do magic tricks and he was always reading science books that explained   how to do them 
Emily and Jake and their mother were staying in a caravan at Lighthouse  rock for the holidays.

Her parents underestimate how brainy Matilda is. Miss honey Matilda`s teacher is very sweet to her and thinks she is a very brainy kid. But when she's got a horrible headmistress it doesn't help! Miss Honey and Matilda try sneaky tricks to get rid of the head mistress.

Jack lived next door and is Mias brother ,Nicks friend. Jack always comes over to meet Nick ,but then Mia started playing ping pong together with Jack and they became friends. Unfortunately her friends Michiko and Shae Mias friends don't just reckon he's just a friend. Slowly Mia starts to think Jack likes her too but that was just a misunderstanding.But then they realise they were just good friends as Mia proves it by asking Jack and including Jack in her homework about the friendship time capsules. MIa,Jack,Nick ,Shae and Michiko all become good friends, when they all hangout and play ping pong Mia and Jacks favourite game.

Greg Heffleys a middle school boy who can't seem to catch luck. Gregs luck begins to go downhill when his best friend Rowley Jefferson starts spending all his time with his new girlfriend Abigail Brown. From there Greg sees everything downward change and it isn't until he starts making decisions for himself that Greg begins to see his luck change.


I think that this book was fun because it had humour and I kept wanting to read it so I would rate this book 9/10 and I defiantly recommend this book to read.

Darren is rude and likes to burp in Barry's face. Everyday he teases Barry about his last name until Barry decided that he would lie to Darren about a new flavor drink called "Fronkle". When Darren finally found out that there was no such thing as a new Fronkle flavor, Darren wasn't actually to angry about it and started to stop Barry

What I liked about this book is that it is similar to Diary of a Wimpy Kid. I would recommend this book and I rate it 7/10

Julius zebra wasn't like any other zebras, Julius was not as dumb as the other ones, well that's what he thinks. Everyday Julius hated going to the lake to drink water because first, he was too lazy, second, he hated drinking the water because all the hippos and crocodiles were in there washing their dirty body, and the lake was practically their toilet as well. Julius didn't even take a sip of water, but on the other side Julius's brother (Brutus) drank so much it almost cleared the lake. One day Julius decided to run away to show that he can take care of himself, and then alone came a warthog (one of the most annoying things for Julius) suggesting him to go back to the herd, but Julius refused. 

I liked how Julius ended up fighting the Romans.

I would recommend it because this book is funny.

THIS BOOK IS ABOUT THREE GRIZZLY BEARS THAT LIVE IN A ABANDONED COTTAGE IN THE WOODS. THERE WAS A DADDY BEAR, MUMMY BEAR AND A LITTLE BABY BEAR.

ONE DAY MUMMY BEAR MADE SOME PORRIDGE FOR BREAKFAST BUT WHEN MUMMY BEAR GIVES THE FAMILY THE PORRIDGE IT IS SUPER DUPER HOT SO THEY GO FOR A WALK IN THE FOREST. 

WHEN THEY ARE OUT ON THERE WALK A LITTLE GIRL CALLED GOLDILOCKS CAME INTO THEIR ABANDONED COTTAGE. AS SHE IS WALKING AROUND SHE  SEE'S THAT THERE IS SOME PORRIDGE ON THE TABLE. SHE TRIES DADDY BEARS PORRIDGE BUT THAT IS STILL TO HOT SO SHE HAS LOOK AT THE OTHERS AND BABY BEARS PORRIDGE IS PERFECT SO SHE EATS ALL OF IT. AFTER ALL THAT EATING SHE FELT TIED SO SHE WENT UP STAIRS AND SAW THAT BABY BEAR HAD A VERY COMFORTABLE BED SO SHE WENT TO SLEEP IN IT.  WHEN THE FAMILY OF BEARS GOT HOME THEY SAW ALL THE THINGS THAT GOLDILOCKS DID SO THEY WENT UP STAIRS TO FIND HER SLEEPING IN THE BED. THE BEARS WOKE HER UP AND SHE SCREAMED AND RAN AS FAST AS SHE COULD OUT THE FRONT DOOR. 

I RATE THIS BOOK A 8/10 BECAUSE IT WAS FULL OF FUNNY STUFF

The Ghost Dog. Daniel(Also known as Dan) invites over 6 friends for halloween. His mum's boyfriend invites his son to stay with them for 2 weeks whilst he is up in Sydney for a job application. The son and him don't go along very well, and don't know each other that much. The night of halloween comes and all his friends huddle in a shed out in the back yard. Dan tells a story about a dog and how it has it's own grave under a tree with 100 rocks on top. He told them if that anyone took a single rock off his grave, he will haunt them every night. That same night. They went to the nearest grave yard and saw the grave. Dan got dared to remove on of the rocks. He picked up on that had a bone shape to it. They scampered home with the rock in Dan's pocket terrified. Dan places the rock on his shelf and dreams about the dog each night. He dreams of running away from the dog with blood shot eyes and sharp teeth. A thick jaw drooling. A hungry look on his face ready for a snack.. But the dog catches up and bites his ankle. He soon wakes up the next morning with a sore ankle. The story he told his friends was a myth. But it comes to life in his dreams. So, If he told the story and it come to life in his dreams. Can't he make it funny to not be afraid of? Dan told the same story about the dog but added: a pink tutu, Glasses and a pink bow in the hair. He dreamed about the dog the same night and laughed and laughed at the dog. He made the dog dance and do silly moves. The dog was humiliated. But the next night, all of the silliness disappeared and the normal scary dog was back. Dan tried not to be afraid. So he tried to touch the dog. The dog let him touch him with slight fear. Dan took a closer look at the dog and saw bruises, rotting and skin and bones. He dreamed about a soapy bowl with a sponge and a food bowl with dog food for the dog. The dog gratefully ate the food whilst Dan cleaned him up. The dog told the story about his past. And how he ended up looking like this. He told Dan. That if he dug a  grave for the dog before midnight he'll give him 3 festival tickets. Or else he'll regret it. So he woke up the next day and went to the festival until dawn with his friends. he forgot about the grave. Until in his dream he saw the dog. The dog told him about the grave and that he broke his trust. But the dog gave Dan another chance and let him dig up his grave under his own claimed tree with 100 rocks on top. 

I rate this book a: 10/10

Because: It isn't too scary for young kids and gives you a good interest.
