Insurgent is a story about two characters,Tris and Tobias, going on a journey to find out what being a Divergent really means. Everyone lives behind a giant wall . And all persons are separated into factions (large groups of people depending on their level of determination and abilities).They are put behind the wall to be experimenting and observed on how they react and respond to their way of society.Tris discovers the meaning of herself a Divergent. And Sets on a journey beyond the wall to discover the real way of life.

From personal experience, I would say that this story is a good read if you're really committed to a daily reading routine. Its an engainging story and it is similar to The Hunger Games and The Maze Runner.So if you really enjoyed The Hunger Games or The Maze Runner, I think that you will like this book.

The only thing that I didn't like was that it's a long read and you really have to keep on top of reading it.
