After the terrible night of the burning sweeps through Devorah's village. She and her sister have to go far away from everything and everyone they know and have. The future holds the unexpected. A random man called Isaac Ochberg finds the two girls and some other children in an orphanage and offers them a rare chance at life in a new country. Devorah and her sister become part of a bid for survival.

I didn't like how they had to leave there family's.

I liked how Isaac Ochberg gamer and gave some of the girls homes.

I would rate this book a 5 but I don't think boys would like it.
