Harry was a brave young boy who wanted to go to war, but he was under-age to go. Harry had a friend called Jessica and they both got along pretty well. One day Harry sneaked out and went on a train to go and sign up to go to war with all the other brave men. After Harry had left, he has been writing letters to Jessica and Jessica has been writing back to Harry so that they can share what the were doing that day. 

I liked how Harry and Jessica sent letter back and forth.


I would recommend it if you like war.

Rafe Khatchadorian was a 6th grade student who loved drawing. Then the next year Rafe had to move on to 7th grade, which he had no problem with that. Everyone in Hills Village was a bunch of nice people. Until one day, Rafe's Mum was at work having a lunch break when suddenly the was a huge fire. The whole building got on fire and Rafe's Mum lost her job. They had no money to rent their house, so they had to go to grandma's house to stay for a while, meaning leaving Hills Village and going into a BIG city.

I like how Rafe have an imaginary friend called Leo, which was suppose to be his brother but he died when he was a baby.

I would recommend it if you like comedy books. I give it a 9/10.

Letters from the coffin trenches is about a boy called Harry Allan Wainwright and a girl called Jessica
Collingwood who write letters to each other because Harry snuck into war because he was to young . Harry writes letters to Jessica everyday about what is going on and when Jessica gets the letters she writes a letter back to Harry.

What I liked about this book was that Harry loved to write letters to Jessica about his war journey.

There was nothing I didn't like about this book.

 If I was to recommend this book to anyone  I would recommend it to people who like to read old letters about the process you go through in war.

The thing I liked about this book was the level of detail added to it.
The thing I disliked about this book was that they talked about what there hobbies were in the middle of explaining what ingredients they added to the cupcakes.
REVIEW-Ella and Olivia are sisters, the young one is Olivia , they live with there mum , dad and little brother Max. Both the sisters are making cupcakes together for there dads birthday. They have added the colours of there dads favourite soccer team to the cupcakes. Suddenly the ingredients gets mucked up ,but the party still carry's on!

i like how a kid is going to a dangerous island.

The Book is about a boy named George and his Grandma, you would normally expect Grandma's to be all lovely and nice but not George's  grandma. She's really nasty, a completely different person when Georges mum is not around and i think thats horrible. George's mum went shopping in a village before she left, she reminded George to give the  medicine to his grandma at 11:00, obviously he did, but she was so nasty and mean. George was going to teach his grandma a lesson so he makes up his own magic medicine combining it with her original medicine with  all sorts of other ingredients. I thought that was funny and genius, not that I would do that 

What I liked about this book:
I liked the illustrations in the book because they were really detailed 

What I  disliked about this book: Nothing really

Would I recommend it: Yes because this book I found very interesting just like the rest of Roald Dahl's books that I've read!

The genre of this book is Action-War.

This book is about a boy named Harry, who sneaks into the war and

is Under-aged. He meets a girl named Jessica and really gets along

with her. He starts to send letters to Jessica and she replies with

letters also. Once Harry arrives at war he tends to write a lot less

as he has a lot less time to write to Jessica. Jessica applies for a

nursing job and eventually gets the Job. Her boss, Staff Atkinson,

tells her nurses that some of them may get transferred to a place

close to where Harry is. -All that I have read so far.

What I liked about this book is that it was not a type of book that I

would usually read but it hooked me in and was actually quite

interesting and good to read.

There were no aspects of this book that I did not like, and I would

recommend it. I also rate this book a 10/10.

what i liked: i liked that it was based on two NZ kids.
what i didn't like: nothing
would i recommend? yes to people who like farming and that type of stuff

This book is about a girl called Eden (16 years old) she goes to LA to see her father that left her mum and her 3 years ago. She hasn't talked to talked to him since but then he rang and asked her to go spend the summer with him. She fly's to LA and meets her father at the airport. She find out that he is remarried.She has new 3 step brothers. She is attracted to one he is 17 hes Tyler. At first she thought he was an idiot and she pays no attention. She makes new friends and she gets more attracted to him. Tyler has a girlfriend called Tiffani she is crazy. Tyler brakes up with her but she yells 'I AM PREGNANT.' But is she really she is crazy? 

10/10 

i loved the book. I would only recommend this book to girls.

that is so tall, kauri trees live up to more that two thousand years,some are protected with a  by having fences around did you know? Gumdiggers destroy the trees by cutting them down aswell wow, I enjoyed this article because I would love to explore this tree because there's so many answers I know about this tree.

This story is all about a dog named pig the pug who is really greety.He lives in a home with a sausage dog named trevor.Pig the Pug never likes to share his food or toys with trevor because hes too greety.the next day pig the pug has gathered his toys in a big tall tower.The pug had stood on top of the tower and trevor had relised that the tower of toys had start wobbling.The toys fell and the pug was out the window.Trevor said to himself pugs cant fly.Now Pug shares his toys with trevor.

i recommend this book for littler kids because its funny.i rate it a 7/10 because it mademelaugh because of some of the words that were said in the story

A man called Louis scoles believe it or not he was caught eating live may bug, live house spider,21 live locusts,raw sheep brain,wasabi sauce,cockroaches,10 mice, scorpion,600 warms, live wasp.

the man interested in trying new thing as being challenged he also posted videos seems really horrifying.

I rate this an  8/10 because it seems quite Challenging and brave for a man to do this.

A lonely boy named James lives with his 2 selfish Aunt's in a very tiny house on a very lonely and dark hill. His Aunt's names were Aunt Sponge and Aunt Spike. No one new about James because his Aunt's never let him out the gate surrounding the house. James's parents died when he was a little boy at the beach when a HUGE rhino came out of the sky and took his parents away from him. He's sure that he'll never see them again. One day when James was out in the yard doing his work he stumbled across a very odd man who James thinks knows him better than he does. The man hands James a paper bag fulled with tiny green things, then disappears. The man said that if James ate a couple, his dreams would come true, but as James was walking back to do his work. He fell over on a tree root and the green things got free. They scattered everywhere and disappeared into the ground by the peach tree. The next morning, James's Aunts couldn't believe their eyes as a huge peach was towering over them. Aunt Spike and Aunt Sponge arraigned and event were people had to man a whole lot of money to see it. They soon became extremely famous. As Jame's was cleaning up the mess from the people, at night time. He was ever so tempted to take a bite out of the peach. And so he did. As he took a bite out of it, it showed a tunnel where he followed it and opened a door revealing a house full of bugs. There was Mr. Cricket, Miss. Spider. Mr. Caterpillar and a glow bug. They became Jame's first friends and they went on many adventures.

I rate this book a: 9/10

I recommend this book because: It's very interesting and has a lot of fantasy in it :)

Geronimo Stilton is a curious and funny little mouse.
He was one of the greatest adventurers in New Mouse City, which was the the capital of Mouse Island. One day, Geronimo and his friend Wild Willie went off to Japan to search for a legendary ancient samurai scroll that tells you a secret fighting technique that was used a long long time ago. But the scroll was already found by someone who was going to use it for something cruel, something that could take over the whole world. So then Geronimo wanted to retrieve the scroll and save the world, but on the way there Geronimo had to fight a bunch of skill ninjas.  

I like how Geronimo had to fight the ninjas.

I would recommend it if you like adventures.

What i like about this book was how everything was described well and all flowed together.

George's marvellous medicine By Roald Dahl

George's grandma bosses George around to make medicine to replace the old one, so George went around the house to find things to make his grandma's medicine. When he find everything George put it in a pot to mix it, when is finish he give it to his grandma to drink and his grandma became big. His dad came home and saw grandma that big and asked what happened, George said she drink the medicine that he made. Then his dad said can you make the medicine again so i can make the animal big, George try and try but he can't make it again.

I liked how George made his grandma big.

I didn't like how he can't make the medicine again.

I recommend it. 7/10
